We are organizing the first Annual Meeting of Chilean Immunologists to be held on April 28th at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Campus Curauma. This event will host distinguished International and National speakers; Dr Norberto Zwirner (President of the Argentinian Society of Immunology) and Dr Eduardo Villablanca (Karolinska Institutet, Sweden).

Sarah Núñez, a postdoc from our laboratory has recently published a paper in Science Immunology demonstrating that the thymus, which is historically considered essential for supporting the development of T cells, may also constitute the niche for antibody-producing plasma cells.
